The Biscioni family
Every family has a secret, and the secret is that it's not like other families.
The history of Biscioni Gioielli started in 1871, and it's a tale about tradition and craftsmanship, intertwined to form a design whose contours are the same as the Florence skyline.
The old number 10 of Ponte Vecchio, now 38 red, is occupied by the G. Biscioni Jewelry.
Giuseppe Biscioni, the current owner's great-grandfather, had bought the shop and started the business. Since then, except for a brief period during the war, the shop has always been open, and there has always been a Biscioni behind the counter.
After Giuseppe, his son Gino left the business to Giancarlo. Today Giuditta, his daughter, runs the shop, chooses the stones, and greets the customers.
Four generations of men and women from this shop overlooking a corner of Paradise have welcomed customers worldwide to make their small and big dreams come true.
Workshop
Starting from a hand-drawn model, Biscioni Gioielli works on its creations being faithful to the history and technique of Florentine craftsmanship.
